秋葉原では、謎の敵・”破繰者（バグリモノ）”が出没するという都市伝説が広まっていた。破繰者に噛み付かれると、体を乗っ取られ、自我を失い、自分の意志で行動できなくなるという。妹のにわかと共に秋葉原に来ていたタモツは、たまたま破繰者との戦いに巻き込まれ、瀕死の重傷を負ってしまう。謎の少女・まとめの不思議な力によって一命を取り留めるが、助けられた影響で秋葉原の街から出られなくなる。まとめや有紗やにわか、かげさん達と共に自警団を結成し、秋葉原の自由を守る戦い、破繰者と秋葉原の関係の謎を追う戦いに、仲間と共に挑んでいく――。
In Akihabara, a urban legend had spread that a mysterious enemy called the “Bugged Ones” was appearing. It was said that if one was bitten by the Bugged Ones, their body would be taken over and they would lose their consciousness, becoming unable to act on their own will.
Tamotsu, who had come to Akihabara with his little sister Niwaka, happened to get caught up in a battle with the Bugged Ones and suffered critical injuries. Thanks to the mysterious power of a girl named Matome, he managed to survive, but was unable to leave the city of Akihabara due to the influence of the rescue.
Along with Matome, Arisa, Niwaka, and Kage-san, they formed a vigilante group to protect the freedom of Akihabara and to investigate the mystery surrounding the Bugged Ones’ relationship with Akihabara. Together with their comrades, they embarked on a fight to protect Akihabara.
